Celeste Kim is originally from Los Angeles and has grown up playing music since the age of 8. After studying at Calarts and Musician’s Institute, Celeste has gone on to tour as keyboardist and back up singer with major artists such as Savage Garden, Coolio, and Rebekah Del Rio performing on stages all over the world, as well as on The Tonight show with Jay Leno.

After that, Celeste started 3 piece indie punk/rock group Underwater City People with Jon Rustad in which she played bass and sang.  Underwater City People did some extensive touring in the US,  gained national exposure on prime time TV shows and won the Best Pop Single at the LA Music Awards.  

After several years with Underwater City People, Celeste started electronic pop project Sparkalize. Sparkalize has opened for Mord Fustang at Electro Pop Rocks festival at Club X in San Francisco, performed at the World Music Festival in Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia, and at the World Music Festival in Jakarta Indonesia. 

While living in Bali, Indonesia the last 3 years, Celeste continues to record music under Sparkalize as well as compose for film and music licensing houses.
